The rider taps the sides of the horse and the intelligent animal treads steadily onto an unfortunate grasshopper. He taps again and the beast picks up speed. A third time and the bushy mane tickles the rider now bent low to fight the dusty gale. Man and beast leap through the still-life of the prairie and into frames of an unrestrained gallop. Captivated by the speed and power of this quiet creature, the rider couldn't help but to reconsider his life in the more modern of worlds.
Even though he lived in a country where he is "free", he found the truest sense of the word in a decrepit land scarce of resources and prostrated by millenniums of conquest. This was the quintessential freedom that life entails but has since been taken away from those who do not appreciate it. The nomads of this land politely refused the life of technology for the blissful emptiness of their barren terrain. Under the endless azure sky, a nomad on horseback trailed behind his grazing herd. When asked if he would leave to live in America, the nomad smiled and declined. When asked why, he replied, "There is no sunset like this one."
(yea hehe, that was me on the empty plains of Mongolia
